1st Grade Philanthropists

Without any prompting, these girls have been meeting at recess to make bookmarks. They plan to sell the bookmarks to raise money for cancer research. I hope they remember me when they grow up and become rich and famous! :)

*We are looking forward to our Poetry Potluck!  Please join us in the cafeteria at 6pm.  You may use the front or back entrance to the school.  If you are bringing a DESSERT, please set it on the tables outside our CLASSROOM door.  If you are bringing an APPETIZER, ENTRÉE, or SIDE DISH, please put it on the food tables in the hallway right outside the cafeteria.  Bring any needed serving utensils.  Dinner will be served at 6:15pm.  Once everyone is finished, we will head to our own classroom for dessert and our big poetry production.  So excited for you to see the children’s published pieces!

*This has come up quite a bit this past week so I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that the group text app does not permit replies to my messages.  I’ve contacted the company that created this app and they “do not offer this option for security reasons at this time.”  Until this becomes an option, please email me as I check my email account daily after school lets out.
