1st Grade Philanthropists
Without any prompting, these girls have been meeting at recess to make bookmarks. They plan to sell the bookmarks to raise money for cancer research. I hope they remember me when they grow up and become rich and famous! :)

*We’re going on a coin hunt! Each child will collect plastic eggs filled with dimes and small prizes. They will put their knowledge of counting by tens to the test as they graph and count their coins. Learning can be so much fun!
So…we need your help! If possible, please send in a dozen plastic eggs. Each egg should be filled with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 dimes. If you’d like to, you can also include a small trinket, but this is optional. Trinkets can be any nonfood item such as small toys, stickers, erasers, etc. All donations are due no later than Wednesday, March 27th. If you are not able to contribute, just let us know.
